8/28 Green Bay Packers

Lambeau Field. Just the name commands respect and awe over the tradition the place possesses. However, Mike Sherman and the Packers of 2003 do not come close to resembling the Packers of old, led by the like of Bart Starr, Jim Taylor and Forrest Gregg. Bad, huh? No, for quarterback Brett Favre has enjoyed a Hall of Fame caliber career there, as did defensive lineman Reggie White. This game will see both teams play their starting 11 on both sides of the ball for the first half, and probably more. For Green Bay, fans league wide will be watching to see how offensive lineman Chad Clifton had recovered from the vicious hit administered by Tampa Bay's Warren Sapp last fall. For Tennessee, who will be the #2 QB could be decided, depending on how well Billy Volek has met the challenge to surpass veteran Neil O'Donnell. After this game, the teams will trim the roster down to be ready for the kickoff of the 2003 regular season!
